Been back from my trip for a few days now. I think Belfast and NI in general deserves a longer visit at some later point. Dublin was of course great as always and I think my brother and I might go for another trip later this year. We had a really good time, which was only slightly marred by the discovery of a missing car when we arrived in Berlin. But the car was waiting at the police station because someone had broken into it and stolen the radio - duh. Anyway, the days were bright and hopeful and fortunately a bit less of our newly discovered purposelessness (yep, my brother is on that train as well).
